Provider Network
Community Rules & Guidelines
The EECP Provider Forum is a private, invitation-only space for licensed clinicians. These rules exist to protect patients, maintain clinical integrity, and keep the forum useful for everyone.
โ ๏ธ Patient Privacy โ Most Important Rule
Never include any Protected Health Information (PHI) in any post, reply, or attachment. This forum is not HIPAA-compliant infrastructure, and any post containing PHI will be deleted immediately and may result in account suspension.
PHI includes: patient names, initials, dates of birth, ages (when combined with other identifiers), geographic data smaller than a state, phone numbers, email addresses, Social Security numbers, medical record numbers, health plan numbers, account numbers, certificate/license numbers, device identifiers, URLs, IP addresses, biometric identifiers, full-face photographs, and any other unique identifying number or code.
What to post instead: Describe patients by general clinical profile only. For example: "62-year-old male with Class III angina, EF 35%, prior CABG, refractory to maximal medical therapy โ considering EECP for symptom relief" is appropriate. Adding a name, city, or date of birth is not.
1. This Forum Is for Clinical Discussion Only
The Provider Forum exists for one purpose: to help EECP practitioners share clinical knowledge, discuss complex cases, and advance the field. Every post should serve that purpose.
Appropriate topics include: treatment protocols, patient selection criteria, contraindication edge cases, equipment settings, off-label indication evidence, insurance and billing strategies, post-treatment monitoring, and integration with other therapies.
2. Verified Providers Only
Access to this forum requires manual approval by the EECPLocator.com administrator. Only licensed clinicians who have been verified and approved may post or reply. Your credentials are tied to your account; do not share your login with others.
If your practice or credentials change significantly, please notify the administrator. Accounts that are found to be misrepresented will be suspended.
3. Respectful, Collegial Tone
Disagreement about clinical approaches is welcome and healthy. Personal attacks, dismissive language, and condescension are not. Critique ideas, not people. If you disagree with a protocol or approach, explain your reasoning with evidence.
Posts that are disrespectful, inflammatory, or harassing will be removed. Repeated violations will result in account suspension.
4. No Commercial Solicitation
This is not a marketplace. Do not post advertisements, promotional content, referral solicitations, or unsolicited commercial offers of any kind. Mentioning equipment or products in the context of a genuine clinical discussion is acceptable; posting to sell or promote is not.
Equipment manufacturers, sales representatives, and non-clinical staff are not eligible for provider accounts.
5. Evidence-Based Discussion
When making clinical claims, cite your evidence โ whether that is a published study, your own clinical experience, or manufacturer data. Clearly distinguish between FDA-cleared indications and off-label use. Anecdotal reports are welcome but should be labeled as such.
Do not present speculative claims as established fact. The goal of this forum is to advance clinical knowledge, not to create false certainty.
6. File Attachments
You may attach de-identified protocol documents, treatment summaries, and clinical references to your posts. All attachments must be fully de-identified before upload โ remove all patient names, dates, facility names, and any other identifying information.
Attachments containing PHI will be deleted immediately. Accepted formats: PDF, Word documents, and images. Maximum file size: 10 MB.
7. Moderation Policy
This forum is moderated by the EECPLocator.com administrator. Moderation is manual โ there is no automated content filtering. Posts are reviewed on a best-effort basis, not in real time.
The administrator may delete posts, lock threads, pin important discussions, or suspend accounts without prior notice when rules are violated. Moderation decisions are final.
If you see a post that violates these rules โ especially one containing PHI โ please email [email protected] immediately with the thread title and a brief description.
